Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flow channel changeover valve capable of realizing a smooth sliding motion of a valve body and showing a less dangerous state in which fluid flowing at an internal flow passage of the valve body is leaked out to external environment.SOLUTION: A continuous hole between inner flow passages 3a1, 3b1 of a valve body and an inner space of a casing is formed at a valve body 3. A shaft member 4 comprises an arm part of elastic body and a continuous hole closing protrusion 4c1. The shaft member and the valve body can be engaged with or disengaged in a rotating direction of the shaft member. An engaging part between both members is formed with an idling area expanding over a specified angle in a rotating direction of the shaft member. When the shaft member is rotated in the idling area, the shaft member is not engaged with the valve body and rotation of the shaft member is not transmitted to the valve body. Upon rotation of the shaft member over the idling area, the shaft member is engaged with the valve body to cause rotation of the shaft member to be transmitted to the valve body and when the shaft member is present at a reference rotating position in the idling area, the continuous hole closing protrusion is fitted to the continuous hole to close the continuous hole.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
