Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature measurement device for three-dimensional unit capable of accurately measuring the temperature in a local area of an internal space of a three-dimensional unit such as in-cylinder of an engine which contains gas composition while reducing estimation error of the temperature due to noises.SOLUTION: A terahertz wave TW is transmitted while changing the frequency within a preset range Rm of a frequency width Δfb, which includes fundamental frequency fb within a range of 0.01THz to 10THz, toward measurement area IT in an internal space 10c from a transmission antenna 21, and terahertz wave TW which propagates through the measurement area IT is detected. Transmission quantity PI of the signal is measured from the terahertz wave TW propagating through the measurement area IT. After detecting the frequency fmin of the signal, the transmission quantity PI of which is the lowest in the range Rm of the frequency width Δfb, the temperature Tm of the measurement area IT is calculated from the detected frequency fmin.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
