Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart one function among antifouling property, hydrophilicity, light-transmitting property, light-diffusing property, light-reflecting property and low friction to an optical functional component by a coating film formed of a coating composition.SOLUTION: A coating composition is provided, which comprises silica fine particles and fluorocarbon resin particles and is applied on a surface of an optical functional component. The coating composition is applied as a coating film 103 on a cover 1230 of an illumination device 1000 in such a state that the fluorocarbon resin particles are partially exposed from the surface of a silica film comprising the silica fine particles. In the coating film 103 applied on the surface of the optical functional component, an exposed area of the silica film is greater than an exposed area of the fluorocarbon resin particles.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
