Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a submersible motor that ensures electrical connection between an earth contact and a conductive exterior cover member.SOLUTION: A submersible motor is provided with: a motor body 36; an earth cable 37c; an electric cable 37a for supplying power to the motor body 36, or exchanging an electric signal with the motor body 36; a motor casing 35 for fluid-tightly surrounding the motor 36; a conductive exterior cover member 46 fluid-tightly coupled to the motor casing 35; a cable contact 50 and an earth contact 51 electrically connected with the electric cable 37a and the earth cable 37c, respectively; an earth member 52 for electrically connecting the earth contact 50 with the conductive exterior cover member 46; and an energization member 65 for pressing the earth member 52 against the earth contact 50.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
