Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a top seal device for manufacturing a package of a simple constitution with a folded lug part.CONSTITUTION: A top seal device comprises a pair of top sealers 21, 22 which revolvingly moves in a facing state of sealing faces 21a, 22a and seals a cylindrical film 9 by sandwiching it, and front side and rear side fold-forming sealers 45, 46 disposed at a front face and a rear face of the top sealers, respectively. Each of the fold-forming sealers comprises convex sealer parts 51, 62 having projection strips 51a, 62a, and concave sealer parts 52, 61 having concave grooves 52a, 61a. When the top sealers sandwich the cylindrical film, the projection strips and the concave grooves sandwich the cylindrical film, and form a convex fold-forming line part at an upper or a lower part. By setting temperature of the top sealer having the convex sealer parts higher than temperature of the top sealer having the concave sealer parts, the cylindrical film is folded from the fold-forming line part, and a lug part can be folded following the top sealing treatment.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
