Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further increase supercharging pressure of supercharged air to be supplied to a cylinder in a low-rotation and high-load operation region.SOLUTION: An internal combustion engine control device controls an internal combustion engine mounted with an exhaust turbocharger which drives a compressor installed in an intake passage with a turbine installed in an exhaust passage and an exhaust gas recirculation device which has an EGR passage connecting an upstream side of the turbine in the exhaust passage and a downstream side of the compressor in the intake passage and mixes EGR gas with intake air by recirculating the EGR gas through the EGR passage. When a rotation speed of an engine is equal to or less than a predetermined value and an accelerator opening is equal to or more than a predetermined value, the internal combustion engine control device: increases a fuel injection amount so as to make an air-fuel ratio of mixed gas to be supplied to a cylinder richer than a theoretical air-fuel ratio; and opens an EGR valve which opens and closes the EGR passage to send fresh air into the exhaust passage through the EGR passage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
