Abstract:
To provide an asphalt composition for water-proofing work and a method for applying asphalt which are capable of more reducing smoke generation and odor generation.SOLUTION: An asphalt composition for water-proofing work includes 0.5 to 5.0 mass parts of one or more kinds of deodorant compounds selected from among sodium carbonate, sodium hydrogen carbonate, potassium carbonate and potassium hydrogencarbonate with respect to 100 mass parts of an asphalt for water-proofing work. The asphalt for water-proofing work is preferably three kinds of asphalts for water-proofing work described in JIS K2207 petroleum asphalts.SELECTED DRAWING: None
