PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of evaluating degree of deterioration of an ultra minute amount of grease of a microgram order.SOLUTION: A method for evaluating a degree of deterioration of grease includes: a process for granting load in which an ultra minute amount of a sample of a microgram order interleaved between two sheets of glass plates is held for a prescribed time while being loaded; and a process for evaluating degree of deterioration of the sample based on a state of abrasion powder included in an observation image of the sample spread by the process for granting load.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
