PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coke producing apparatus which is simplified and allows easy maintenance and inspection.SOLUTION: A coke producing apparatus includes a coke oven A for obtaining coal tar (a) containing moisture, a heating device B for obtaining coal tar b substantially free from moisture, and a distillation column C for recovering distillation residual oil of coal tar b, and also includes a line 11 for supplying coking coal to the coke oven A, a line 12 for supplying the coal tar (a) from the coke oven A to the heating device B, a line 13 for supplying the coal tar b from the heating device B to the distillation tower C, a line 14 for drawing the distillation residual oil of the coal tar b from the distillation column C, a line 15 branched from the supply line 13 and supplying a part of the coal tar b in the supply line 13 to the drawing line 14, and a supply line 16 for mixing the coal tar b in the supply line 15 and the distillation residual of the coal tar b in the drawing line 14 and supplying the mixture to the supply line 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
