To provide a monitoring device and a voltage value detection circuit capable of suppressing a cost required for monitoring an amplifier circuit.SOLUTION: A monitoring device (6) comprises: a current value calculation unit (61) that calculates a current value of a current to be supplied to a control terminal for controlling an operation of a semiconductor element (1) that configures an amplifier circuit by using voltage value information that represents a voltage value of a voltage applied to the control terminal; and a state specification unit (62) that specifies an operation state of the semiconductor element based on the current value calculated by the current value calculation unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
