Abstract:
To shorten the length of a plate of a detector which detects the location of a plate where a car is by identifying a plate out of a plurality of plates arranged in a hoistway of an elevator, with a sensor provided on the car so as to face the plates.SOLUTION: A plurality of plates PA is arranged in a hoistway. Each plate PA has a structure in which a plurality of regions PA1-PA5 is arranged in a vertical direction, and each region PA1-PA5 has a different color according to the combination of each plate PA. The sensors arranged on the car specify the plate PA by identifying the color of the regions PA1-PA5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
