Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently obtain a polyarylene sulfide block copolymer which is excellent in flexibility, toughness, electric insulating property and long-term heat resistance without impairing heat resistance and chemical resistance inherent in a polyarylene sulfide.SOLUTION: There is provided a polyarylene sulfide block copolymer obtained by reacting a polyarylene sulfide (X) having an acid anhydride group in the terminal and a polyorganosiloxane (Y) having an amino group and/or an isocyanate group, wherein the molecular weight retention rate defined by the following expression is 70%or more: the molecular weight retention rate (%)=(the weight average molecular weight before heat treatment)/(the weight average molecular weight after heat treatment of 180°C×300h))×100(%).SELECTED DRAWING: None
