Abstract:
To provide a technique which can measure a correct distance to a target object regardless of the intensity of light entering a light receiving element.SOLUTION: A light distance measuring device 10 includes: a light source 20 for irradiating an object with light with a first pulse width; a light receiving element 31 for outputting a pulse signal showing that a light reflected from an object has been reflected, the pulse signal being a pulse signal with a second pulse width, the second pulse width being at least the first pulse width; a histogram generation unit 50 for generating a histogram by recording the degree according to the number of pulse signals output from the light receiving element for each predetermined time length; and a peak detection unit 60 for detecting the peak shape from the histogram; and a distance calculating unit 70 for calculating the distance to the target object by using the time corresponding to the peak shape.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
