Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil-in-water type emulsion composition which comprises an oil-soluble chamomilla extract, suppresses a smell derived from the extract and is excellent in temporal stability and sense of use.SOLUTION: There is provided an oil-in-water type emulsion composition which comprises the following components (A) to (E), wherein the content mass ratio [(E)/(D)] of the component (E) to the component (C) is 0.15 or more and 1.55 or less. (A) an oil-soluble chamomilla extract, (B) a sucrose fatty acid ester having an HLB of 8 or less (provided that when two or more sucrose fatty acid esters are used, a mixed HLB value determined by weight-averaging the HLB values of sucrose fatty acid esters based on the content mass ratio is 8 or less), (C) a compound having a steroid skeleton which has a melting point of 100°C or more, and (D) a polar oil which is in a liquid state at 35°C and (D) a hydrocarbon which is in a liquid state at 35°C.SELECTED DRAWING: None
