Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concrete column which enables a designer to set the position of an inflection point of bending moment generated during an earthquake to a desired position in a multilayer building.SOLUTION: A concrete column 11 in a multilayer building has a connection joint 13. The concrete column 11 having the connection joint 13 is provided with: a lower column 14 and an upper column 15 that include precast concrete members; and a joint member 16 that is arranged between the lower and upper columns. In the connection joint 13, main reinforcements 17a, 19a which are parts of the lower and upper columns 14 and 15 are joined. The connection joint 13 becomes an inflection point 4 as it has no resistance to bending moment generated during an earthquake. For example, providing the connection joint 13 to the center of a predetermined floor enables reduction of a maximum value of generated bending moment as absolute values of bending moment at the column leg and the column head of the floor become roughly equal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
