Abstract:
To provide a device for detecting the number of persons contacting an advertisement medium which can exactly detect the number of persons contacting a medium without actually investigating the number for an OOH medium.SOLUTION: A device for detecting the number of persons contacting an advertisement medium comprises: visual recognition range calculation means 10 for calculating a visual recognition range of an advertisement medium from a position, height from a ground surface of an object advertisement medium and an orientation of an advertisement surface of the advertisement medium; section extraction means for extracting sections in a passable area among a plurality of sections included in the visual recognition range calculated by the visual recognition range calculation means 10; section exclusion means for excluding the sections where visual recognition of the advertisement medium is impossible from the sections extracted by the section extraction means; range specification means for specifying a range including the remaining sections of the ones excluded by the section exclusion means; and fluid population calculation means 14 for calculating fluid population data moving in a direction of the advertisement medium in the specified range. The fluid population data calculated by the fluid population calculation means 14 is considered as the number of persons contacting the advertisement medium.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
