Abstract:
To provide a display device for a vehicle and a design plate in which a boundary between an image display screen of the display device and the design plate is inhibited from being conspicuous.SOLUTION: An design plate 50 includes: a base material 51; a design layer 53; and a white color layer 54. The base material 51 has a first transmission part 51a and a non-transmission part 51b. The first transmission part 51a is formed in a size within an image display surface 13c viewed from a design plate 50 side of an opposite direction (depth direction y), and transmits light emitted from the image display surface 13c. The non-transmission part 51b is formed around the first transmission part 51a and covers a frame outside of the image display surface 13c from the design plate 50 side of the opposite direction (depth direction y). The design layer 53 has a color different from a white color, and is laminated on the image display surface 13c side of the non-transmission part 51b. The white color layer 54 has a white color, and is laminated at the image display surface 13c side of the design layer 53. A shielding layer 55 has a shielding color for shielding light, and is laminated at the image display surface side 13c of the white color layer 54.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
