Abstract:
To provide a manufacturing method of cast-coated paper, which has a high glossiness and a high smoothness even though having a comparatively low coating weight of pigment-coated layer.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of cast-coated paper has: a step of applying a coating liquid for a pigment-coated layer which contains a pigment and an adhesive onto at least one surface of a substrate comprising pulp as a main component, followed by drying to form the pigment-coated layer; a step of applying a coating liquid for a cellulose nanofiber-coated layer which contains a cellulose nanofiber having 1-50 nm in a number average fiber diameter on the surface of the pigment-coated layer, followed by drying to form the cellulose nanofiber-coated layer; and a step of applying a rewetting liquid on the surface of the cellulose nanofiber-coated layer, then performing a cast processing by pressing the cellulose nanofiber-coated layer on a heated mirror surface drum under a wet state.SELECTED DRAWING: None
