PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker capable of cooking polished rice and unpolished rice by easily mixing them without being forced to take troublesome efforts.SOLUTION: A rice cooker includes: heating means 44 heating rice and water as substances to be cooked; a course selection key 16b capable of selecting one rice cooking course from a plurality of rice cooking courses of different heating patterns; and rice cooking control means 51 controlling the heating means 44 and performing rice cooking operation on the basis of a heating pattern of the rice cooking course selected by the course selection key 16b. Here, as the rice cooking course selectable by the course selection key 16b, "an unpolished rice polished rice mixture course" mixing the unpolished rice and the polished rice to cook is included, and on the basis of the heating pattern of the "unpolished rice polished rice mixture course," the rice cooking control means 51 appropriately controls the heating means 44.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
