Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motive power device 15 for cable traction type transportation equipment having a simple configuration which requires less space as well as allowing a motive power pulley 24 to secure a greater angle for winding a cable 13.SOLUTION: A motive power device for cable traction type transportation equipment comprises: a cable receiving deflection wheel 22 supporting, from below, one end of a cable 13 extending from a motive power pulley 24; a cable pressing deflection wheel 23 supporting, from above, the other end of the cable 13 extending from the motive power pulley 24; a first guide pulley 20 disposed in front of the motive power pulley 24, and winding the cable 13 extending from the cable pressing deflection wheel 23; and a second guide pulley 21 disposed in front of the motive power pulley 24, and winding the cable extending from the cable receiving deflection wheel 22. The motive power pulley 24 is inclined toward a direction perpendicular to a rail track. The one end and the other end of the cable 13 are configured to laterally intersect with each other between a position including the cable receiving deflection wheel 22 and the cable pressing deflection wheel 23 and a position including the motive power pulley 24 in a plain view.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
