To provide a game machine including a liquid crystal display device that can radiate heat efficiently and can be utilized for various applications.SOLUTION: A backlight unit of a game machine includes: a plurality of light guide plates (liquid crystal light guide plates 243a, 243b, 243c); a plurality of light sources (a plurality of LEDs 258) for applying light to the plurality of light guide plates; a plurality of partitioning parts (253, 254) for partitioning the plurality of light guide plates; and a heat radiation member (heat radiation member 246) that is disposed over the plurality of light guide plates and radiates heat of the plurality of light guide plates. At least one of the plurality of light guide plates is an image light guide plate for guiding light for displaying an image of a liquid crystal panel, and those other than the liquid crystal light guide plate among the plurality of light guide plates are decoration panel light guide plates for guiding light for allowing a part that the liquid crystal panel opposes to emit light in monochrome.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 28
