Abstract:
The present invention provides a machine tool. The machine (1) is provided with a base (2), a spindle (40) and a tool magazine (8). The tool magazine is installed in the machine base and has a plurality of tool holding portions (81) that hold the tools (T), respectively. The plurality of tool holding portions can be circulated, and the circulation surface (81a) of the plurality of tool holding portions is disposed toward the reference side surface (P) side of the machine base (2). The tool magazine (8) has a tool exchange position (Q) and an off-machine removal position (R). As the indexing position of the plurality of tool holding portions (81), the tool exchange position (Q) is a position at which the tool is exchanged with the spindle (40) on the near side of the base (2). The above-mentioned external removal position (R) is located on the inner side of the base (2). Further, the circulation surface (81a) is inclined with respect to the reference side surface (P), and the distance (L1) between the tool exchange position (Q) and the reference side surface (P) is longer than the distance between the outer removal position (R) and the reference side surface (P).
