Abstract:
To create a raw tire model stably.SOLUTION: A method is for preparing a raw tire model for numerical analysis of a raw tire including a bead core and a carcass ply using a computer. In this creation method, flash parts 30a and 30b of carcass ply models 26A and 26B protruding outward in an axial direction from a bead core model 25 are folded back around the bead core model 25, and a turn-up step of overlapping main body portions 29a and 29b which are an inner portion of the axial direction of the bead core model 25 of the carcass ply models 26A and 26B is included. The turn-up step includes a first step of pressing a side of a bottom 35 of the flash parts 30a and 30b against a side surface on an axially outer side of the bead core model 25, and a second step of pressing the flash parts 30a and 30b towards the main body portions 29a and 29b in time series from the bottom 35 side to an outer edge 26a after the first step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14
