Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas purification catalyst using an OCS material which achieves both oxygen storage capacity and oxygen absorbing and releasing rate while having sufficient heat resistance.SOLUTION: There is provided an exhaust gas purification catalyst which has a substrate and a catalyst coating layer formed on the substrate and contains 5 to 100 g/L of a ceria-zirconia-based composite oxide having a pyrochlore structure based on the substrate volume in the catalyst coating layer, wherein the ceria-zirconia-based composite oxide has a secondary particle diameter (D50) of 3 to 7 μm and may contain praseodymium.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
