Abstract:
To keep supporting force of a back-up ring to a seal lip even when a high pressure acts on the seal lip due to increase of a pressure in a sealed space.SOLUTION: A sealing device is provided with a metallic annular substrate 11 disposed at a sealed space A side, and a metallic annular substrate 21 joined to the annular substrate 11 and disposed at an atmosphere B side, a seal lip 12 is integrally molded on an inner peripheral side of a face at the sealed space A side, of the annular substrate 11 at the sealed space A side, a dust lip 22 is integrally molded on an inner peripheral side of a face at the atmosphere B side, of the annular substrate 21 at the atmosphere B side, and an annular back-up ring 3 supporting an inner peripheral part of a root of the seal lip 12 from the atmosphere B side, is held between the annular substrate 11 at the sealed space A side and the annular substrate 21 at the atmosphere B side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
