Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seismic control device for mobile rack which maintains appropriate braking force to the mobile rack when an earthquake occurs, and is easily adapted to the braking force according to weight and size of a mobile rack, while deterioration caused by use frequency or aging is suppressed.SOLUTION: A seismic control device for mobile rack comprises: a pivot 16 turnably supported on a mobile rack 2; a transmission mechanism 18 for transmitting power between the pivot 16 and a travelling wheel 26 of the mobile rack 2; a rotary damper 61 attached to the pivot 16 for suppressing rotation; a restricted member 62 for damper; a damper mechanism 60 provided with a restriction member 63 for damper engaging/separating from the restricted member 62 for damper for setting the damper operating-state/non-operating-state; and an earthquake sensing mechanism 70 for detecting vibration applied to the mobile rack 2. The rotary damper 61 comprises a case 61a whose inside is filled with oil and a rotor 61b. The seismic control device for mobile rack is so constituted that, when the earthquake sensing mechanism 70 has detected a predetermined or more vibration, the restriction member 63 for damper is engaged with the restricted member 62 for damper to set the damper mechanism 60 to a damper-operating state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
