Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide backing paper for wallpaper which is excellent in detachability when used for wallpaper, suppression of fluffing on the surface, dimensional stability, concealing property and foaming property, and a manufacturing method for producing the same.SOLUTION: Backing paper for wallpaper using a paper machine having a wire part on-top former and a Yankee dryer, is mainly composed of raw pulp and filler, in which the pulp contains 5 to 65% by mass of mechanical pulp, the raw pulp has a freeness of 400 cc or more and contains a dry paper strengthening agent, a wet paper strength enhancer and a sizing agent, and the smoothness of the drying surface as the contact surface to the Yankee dryer is 30 to 60 seconds. There is an interlayer strength in the Z axis direction of 40 to 90 mJ in both the vertical direction and the horizontal direction measured by the internal bond tester method prescribed in JAPANTAPPI No. 18-2.SELECTED DRAWING: None
