Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection method that has a capability of accurately and efficiently connecting pipe bodies with each other using a mold apparatus, and connecting each other so as to have a sufficient and stable strength.SOLUTION: A reinforced projection rim 10 having a ring shape in which an inner periphery face is integrally fused to an outer periphery face of a jointed end portion of pipe bodies with each other is formed, by mutually jointing pipe bodies P and P formed of a thermoplastic synthetic resin into a matching state, connecting into a centering state by using a pipe 12 inserted into the joined parts along their inner periphery faces, forming a space portion 4 having a ring shape by fitting a combination of split molds 1 and 2 on the outer periphery face of the jointed end portion, continuously attaching concave grooves 1b and 2b arranged on an internal surface of the split molds 1 and 2 in the peripheral direction, and injecting and charging a melting resin into the space portion 4 from outside.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
