Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ice machine with high safety and cooling efficiency by cooling frazil plate using secondary refrigerant cooled with primary refrigerant.SOLUTION: An ice machine comprises a metal frazil plate 2 that each frazil side (one face and another face) is arranged for a vertical direction, and a nozzle spraying water on each frazil face of the frazil plate 2. The frazil plate 2 has a secondary refrigerant circulation pass for circulating carbon dioxide or antifreeze (secondary refrigerant) cooled to a temperature at least lower than a melting point of ice with low temperature ammonia (primary refrigerant) cooled in a primary refrigerating cycle, and a heat medium circulation pass for circulating ice-separating water or antifreeze (heat medium) with temperature at least higher than the melting point of ice.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
