Abstract:
This method for preparing AlN includes: heating Mg and reacting Mg vapor of with nitrogen gas in an inert atmosphere to produce Mg3N2; heating and melting Al material (30) disposed on a non-oxide-based material (20); and reacting Mg3N2 and Al of the melted Al material to produce AlN in the melted Al material. The non-oxide-based material has a higher melting point than Al and Mg, does not chemically combine with Al of the melted Al material, is not pyrolyzed in an inert atmosphere, and is not decomposed by reduction of Mg3N2.
