Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor for rotary electric devices with an enhanced cooling performance capable of effectively cooling a rotor coil.SOLUTION: A rotor for rotary electric devices has a radial through flow path extending throughout a rotor slot in a radial direction of a revolving shaft, which is configured so that a coolant gas flows therein and flows out therefrom via a sub-slot. Here, multiple radial through flow paths are disposed in an axial direction and are configured so that the coolant gas flows into each of the multiple radial through flow paths via the sub-slot. An axial direction flow path extends in the axial direction in the rotor slot. The axial direction flow path communicates radial through flow paths neighboring in the axial direction in the multiple radial through flow paths.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
