Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device capable of ensuring compatibility of a log to be recorded.SOLUTION: An information processing device includes a BMC (Baseboard Management Controller). A BMC 11 includes: a communication unit 21; a storage unit 22; a selection unit 23; a recording unit 24; and an acquisition unit 25. The communication unit performs transmission and reception of data with various kinds of hardware. The storage unit includes a SEL (System Event Log) recording area and a detail log recording area. The selection unit selects that a detailed log is not acquired by the acquisition unit, a part of the detailed log is acquired by the acquisition unit or all of the detailed log is acquired by the acquisition unit on the basis of relevance of an event newly generated with an event indicated by the SEL to be stored. The recording unit holds identification information (second identification information) corresponding to a thread number by being applied to the detailed log when the event of the log acquisition target is generated, and the SEL is recorded in association with a SEL_ID (first identification information) corresponding to the event generated and a recording time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
