Abstract:
To make a flame rod approach a combustion plate as closely as possible to improve detection accuracy for flame, in a burner comprising a combustion plate 1 from which air-fuel mixture is jetted, and a flame rod 6, wherein the combustion plate comprises: a frame-shaped burner frame 2; a metal fiber-based knit 4 covering an opening part 3 surrounded by the burner frame; and a distribution plate 5 formed with many distribution holes 51.SOLUTION: Even when a portion of a metal fiber-based knit 4 opposite to a frame rod 6 is cut out, to make the flame rod 6 approach a combustion plate 1, frayed fibers of the metal fiber-based knit 4 are prevented from contacting with the flame rod 6. Also, in the flame rod 6, an extension portion 62 is provided so as to face a portion where the metal fiber-based knit 4 is not cut out. The extension portion 62 separates from the combustion plate 1 compared to a body portion 61 of the flame rod facing a portion 41 where the metal fiber-based knit 4 is cut out.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
