Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the strength of a base part of a blade body.SOLUTION: A blade 10 includes: a blade body 11; and a base part 14 provided on the base end side of the blade body 11, and showing that a distance La between outer peripheral faces 19 in the direction of a chord line connecting a leading edge and a trailing edge is shorter than a distance Lb between outer peripheral faces 19 in a perpendicular direction perpendicular to the direction of the chord line. When the blade 10 is rotated by ocean currents, the loads of the ocean currents work on the base part 14 of the blade body 11 in the perpendicular direction while the base part 14 develops improved strength against the loads working in the perpendicular direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
