Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balloon catheter which can expand according to the shape of a blood vessel and is therefore low load and low invasive to the blood vessel and an affected area.SOLUTION: A balloon catheter 1 is provided which has a shaft 2 and a plurality of balloons 10-12 arranged in positions different in an axial direction of the shaft 2. Medicine is held in the outer surface of at least one middle balloon 11 except for most distal and most proximal balloons among the plurality of balloons 10-12 in the balloon catheter.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
