Abstract:
To acquire an image with less blur even in an out-of-focus area.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes a first photoelectric conversion unit that generates a first signal on the basis of an electric charge generated by receiving a first light flux passing through an optical system, a second photoelectric conversion unit that generates a second signal on the basis of the electric charge generated by receiving the second light flux passing through the optical system, an imaging element in which a plurality of pixels for outputting the first signal and the second signal are arranged, and a signal generation unit that generates a signal of the pixel used for image signal generation by the first signal output from a pixel in an out-of-focus region from among the plurality of the pixels.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
