Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method that can correctly identify ore particles even when the ore particles aggregate in powdery ore after floatation, and hence can prepare a sample reflecting a single body separation degree in an actual floatation process.SOLUTION: A method of preparing a sample for mineral analysis including a powdery ore to be analyzed includes: a drying process of drying a powdery ore including a plurality of ore particles obtained by floatation; a cracking process of mixing a resin granular matter into the powdery ore after the drying that contains an aggregate obtained by aggregation of ore particles due to the drying, and stirring the mixture with a mill to crack the aggregate; and a resin embedding process of embedding, into a thermosetting resin, the powdery ore whose ore particles are dispersed by the cracking of the aggregate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
