Abstract:
To provide a root vegetable digging machine such as yams in which extraction work of an auxiliary worker is made easily and efficiently.SOLUTION: A root vegetable digging machine is provided in which a digging-out body 3 is made to pass in the lower part of root vegetables for digging-up. In the root vegetable digging machine, the digging-out body 3 includes a blade part 3d having a rear-up slope in the front part, a belt conveyor 3a having a slope from the rear end of the blade part 3d toward the rear side upward, and an elastic board 4a extended toward the rear in a cantilever manner at the rear end of the belt conveyor 3a. In the root vegetable digging machine such as yams, the elastic board 4a is provided so that the root vegetables such as the yams are not made to suddenly sink in a space where the digging-out body passes, and therefore the root vegetables such as the yams can be dug out easily.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
