Abstract:
To provide a vehicle controller, a vehicle control method and a program with which it is possible to confirm the recognition state of mutual vehicles when the vehicles pass each other.SOLUTION: A vehicle controller comprises: a communication unit for communicating with other vehicles; a first recognition unit for recognizing an other vehicle present around the host vehicle; a second recognition unit for recognizing that the road that the host vehicle is traveling is a road without a center line; and a control unit which, when a prescribed condition is met that an oncoming vehicle facing the host vehicle is recognized as the other vehicle by the first recognition unit and the road that the host vehicle is traveling is recognized as a road without a center line by the second recognition unit, causes host vehicle-side recognition information that indicates that the host vehicle recognizes the oncoming vehicle to be transmitted to the oncoming vehicle by the communication unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
