Abstract:
To enable a user to know a location of an on-water object such as a ship in an intermittent manner even in a case where a radar temporarily misses the object.SOLUTION: Direction instruction means 1301 instructs changes in a turning angle and an elevation angle of a camera in such a manner that an imaging direction of the camera is turned towards a location of an on-water object detected by a radar. Image recognition means 1302 recognizes a ship from an image picked up by the camera. The direction instruction means 1301 instructs the changes in the turning angle and the elevation angle of the camera in such a manner that the ship recognized by the image recognition means 1302 becomes closer to a central position in the image. Location identification means 1303 identifies a location of the object on the earth on the basis of the location of the object detected by the radar and identifies the location of the ship on the earth on the basis of the directions of the camera and a distance from the camera to the ship. On the basis of the location identified by the location identification means 1303, discrimination means 1304 discriminates whether the object detected by the radar is a ship that is tracked by the camera.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
