Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a mobile station to efficiently search for a communication route by aiming at fixed stations as targets in a millimeter wave radio communication system using a directional antenna.SOLUTION: A communication device obtains information on communication routes established between a plurality of other communication devices, selects directivity about which a communication route is not established as directivity to transmit a request signal for searching for a communication route to the other communication devices on the basis of the information on the communication routes, transmits the request signal by the selected directivity, and upon receiving a response signal to the request signal, searches for a route between the communication device and a communication device that transmitted the response signal among the communication devices.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
