Abstract:
In order to reduce the labor involved in generating an input form corresponding to a paper ledger, this ledger input form generation device 10 is equipped with: an acquisition unit 104 that acquires a scanned image of a ledger; an extraction unit 106 that extracts rectangular regions enclosed by ruled lines contained in the scanned image; a character string recognition unit 108 that recognizes character strings contained in the rectangular regions; a classification unit 110 that, on the basis of the recognition result from the character string recognition unit 108, classifies the rectangular regions extracted by the extraction unit 106 into an item field, which contains only items, a fill-in input field, which contains items and an input region, or an input field, which contains only an input region; an analysis unit 112 that, on the basis of the classification and the positional relationships of each rectangular region aligned in a prescribed direction, analyzes the hierarchical relationship between the item fields, the hierarchical relationship between the item fields and the fill-in input fields, and the correspondence relationship between the item fields and the input fields; and a generation unit 118 that generates an input form related to one or more items contained in the ledger, on the basis of the analysis result from the analysis unit 112.
