Abstract:
To provide a sim having a function for reducing a load due to angular displacement applied to a diaphragm.SOLUTION: In a diaphragm coupling, a center tube is coupled between a pair of flanges 2 opposed to each other in an axial direction via a diaphram 3, and an annular sim 8 is interposed between the flange 2 and the diaphragm 3. The sim 8 has such a shape that the thickness becomes gradually thin in a radial direction of the sim 8 from a position of one portion on a circumference of an outer peripheral edge of the sim 8 to its 180-degree symmetrical potion. The sim 8 may have such a structure to adjust a weight balance on a circumference by providing a weight part or a notch part at one part of the circumference.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
