Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric supercharger which can inhibit leakage flow that has passed through an area between a back surface of a compressor impeller and a casing from entering into the bearing side.SOLUTION: An electric supercharger includes: a compressor impeller; a motor which is configured to transmit a driving force to the compressor impeller through a rotary shaft; a back surface side casing which faces a back surface of the compressor impeller through a gap and encloses the rotary shaft; and a bearing which is provided between the back surface side casing and the rotary shaft so as to rotatably support the rotary shaft. The back surface side casing includes at least one protrusion part protruding to the back surface of the compressor impeller.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
