Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a barometer with which a driver can stop a railway vehicle at a predetermined stop position correctly more easily.SOLUTION: A barometer formation device forms a barometer indicating a current position of a railway vehicle 21 outside the railway vehicle 21 so that a driver can visually recognize it directly or the driver can visually recognize it via a monitor image of an image captured by capturing means provided in the railway vehicle 21. This barometer formation device comprises an irradiation part 11 disposed on the railway vehicle 21 for emitting a light beam toward a local region outside the vehicle which is determined in response to the current position of the railway vehicle 21, with a local irradiated region R irradiated by the light beam serving as the barometer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
