Abstract:
To provide an automatic control system for a snow removing vehicle capable of transitioning from fresh snow removal to compacted snow leveling at an appropriate timing even in poor visibility conditions, and further capable of properly adjusting the contact pressure of the blades to prevent snow growth and unnecessary wear of the blades.SOLUTION: An automatic control system for a snow removing vehicle comprises: a blade lifting mechanism 2; an imaging device 5; a light-emitting device 6; and a shade housing 4 having a cylindrical shape with one end open and the other end closed, with the imaging device 5 and the light-emitting device 6 fixed inside thereof, and being mounted behind a vehicle body blade B such that an opening 41 is disposed downward in the vicinity of the road surface during use. When the number of pixels of a prescribed color in the image data input from the imaging device 5 exceeds or drops below a threshold in respect to the blade lifting mechanism 2 and the imaging device 5, a control device 7 for outputting a control signal for starting to increase or decrease the ground pressure is connected to the blade lifting mechanism 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
