Abstract:
To solve such a problem that when a lens is moved due to an external factor during the standby state of an imaging apparatus, the lens may not exist in a position intended by a user, after the imaging apparatus is shifted to an active state.SOLUTION: A control device controls a lens device including the lens, a moving mechanism for moving the lens in an optical axis direction, and a sensor for detecting the absolute position of the lens. The control device may include a circuit configured so as to acquire a first position indicating the absolute position of the lens detected by the sensor and a second position previously stored in a storage part, when the lens device is shifted from the standby state to the active state, so as to control the position of the lens through the moving mechanism on the basis of a difference between the first position and the second position, and so as to control the position of the lens through the moving mechanism on the basis of the absolute position of the lens acquired from the sensor, when the lens device is in the active state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
