Abstract:
To provide a multilayer neural network applicable in recognizing a time-sequence input pattern which has been previously used only for a still-picture.SOLUTION: A recognition device 1 comprises: an acquisition unit 12 acquiring an input pattern in which a feature point at each time is input in a time sequence; a standard pattern storage unit 11 storing a standard pattern exhibiting the feature point at each time in the time sequence in each class to be recognized; a feature point mapping unit 13 requiring mapping of the feature points between the input pattern and the standard pattern; a feature value sampling unit 14 sampling a feature value through mapping each of the feature points between the input pattern and the standard pattern; and a recognition processing unit 15 recognizing a class exhibiting the input pattern acquired in the acquisition unit 12 by inputting each of the feature values through mapping each of the feature points sampled from the feature values in a multilayer neural network which has previously learned to recognize a class indicated by the input pattern with each of the feature values mapped to the feature point sampled by the feature sampling unit 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
