Abstract:
To provide a rainfall prediction system capable of rapidly and accurately predicting small local heavy rain of a horizontal scale.SOLUTION: A rainfall prediction system comprises: a correlation generation unit that generates a correlation between a humidity, a wind direction and wind speed at each of a plurality of locations, and the temperature difference between a surface temperature and a high-rise temperature at a predetermined position (hereinafter, "four precipitation factor elements"), and rainfall at each of the plurality of locations; and a predicted rainfall calculation unit that predicts rainfall by referring to the correlation on the basis of the four rainfall factor elements measured at each of the plurality of locations, and an observed value (actual value) of rainfall.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
