Abstract:
To provide a system and a method for tracking golf ball flight in a driving range.SOLUTION: A system includes a plurality of hitting stations 100, a plurality of sensors 410, 430, a computer, and a range surface 200. The plurality of hitting stations include golf balls 110, golf clubs 120, monitors, and sensors. At least one of the plurality of sensors is disposed outside the hitting station. The flight path of the golf ball is calculated by a computer using parameters from the plurality of sensors. The system includes describing the flight path of the golf ball using a first parameter, a second parameter, and a third parameter.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
